Summer vacation in New England

It’s been exactly a month since I’ve been back in the US. Time has flown by. Since I’ve been back, the main question everyone has been asking me is: How does it feel to be back?

For the first few weeks my answer was: Great! I really felt like I was on vacation. No work, no obligations, no responsibilities. It was truly relaxing.

I got to spend time with my family, go to camp, go to farmers markets, go on walks with my dogs, see friends and explore the coast of Connecticut.

It was the perfect break before starting grad school.

Unfortunately, my vacation time is officially over. I started class on Thursday and I already have a paper due! How was your summer vacation? Relaxing? Or did you go someplace fun and exotic?

  1. Fun! 🙂 I think that’s what I look forward to about going home in the end – Not having to do anything like work so it just feels like a long, relaxing holiday. 😀 You’re so pretty btw!
