I haven’t really gone into details about my surgery on the blog. I don’t remember why. Maybe not to gross people out? But really, I’m pretty open about it. If you easily get grossed out, stop reading. Or skip the next paragraph.
What happened was, I had an ovarian tumor. It was benign (thank GOD), but enormous. It weighed 2.2 kilos. Its removal, combined with weeks of a restricted diet meant that when I got back on my feet people started to notice that I had dropped a few pounds. And I liked that.
So now that I’m fully recovered, I’ve decided that I need to maintain this figure. And since I have the tendency to be lazy as all hell and eat ice cream for dinner multiple days a week, I desperately had to come up with some sort of exercise plan.
Since I get bored easily, I decided to combine riding my bike, walking to work (a good 40 minutes at a brisk pace) and running. I hate running, but I hate walking nowhere more, so I’d rather get it over with faster.
However, Rihanna has made me hate running a little bit less. Every time I heard this song, it makes me want to go faster.
